It is better^H2896 to go^H3212 to the house^H1004 of mourning^H60 than to go^H3212 to the house^H1004 of feasting:^H4960 for^H834 that is the end^H5490 of all men;^H120 and the living^H2416 will lay^H5414 it to his heart.^H3820

And thou, son^H1121 of man,^H120 thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah^H3069 unto the land^H127 of Israel,^H3478 An end:^H7093 the end^H7093 is come^H935 upon the four^H702 corners^H3671 of the land.^H776

But^G1161 he that endureth^G5278 to^G1519 the end,^G5056 the same^G3778 shall be saved.^G4982

Watch^G1127 therefore,^G3767 for^G3754 ye know^G1492 not^G3756 the day^G2250 nor^G3761 the hour.^G5610

Take ye heed,^G991 watch^G69 and^G2532 pray:^G4336 for^G1063 ye know^G1492 not^G3756 when^G4219 the time^G2540 is.^G2076

But^G1161 take heed to^G4337 yourselves,^G1438 lest haply^G3379 your^G5216 hearts^G2588 be overcharged^G925 with^G1722 surfeiting,^G2897 and^G2532 drunkenness,^G3178 and^G2532 cares^G3308 of this life,^G982 and^G2532 that^G1565 day^G2250 come^G2186 on^G1909 you^G5209 suddenly as a snare:^G160

And^G2532 this,^G5124 knowing^G1492 the season,^G5610 that^G3754 already^G2235 it is time^G2540 for you^G2248 to awake^G1453 out of^G1537 sleep:^G5258 for^G1063 now^G3568 is ^G2257 salvation^G4991 nearer^G1452 to us than^G2228 when^G3753 we [first] believed.^G4100

Then^G1534 [cometh] the end,^G5056 when^G3752 he shall deliver up^G3860 the kingdom^G932 to God,^G2316 even^G2532 the Father;^G3962 when^G3752 he shall have abolished^G2673 all^G3956 rule^G746 and^G2532 all^G3956 authority^G1849 and^G2532 power.^G1411

Let^G1097 your^G5216 forbearance^G1933 be known^G1097 unto^G444 all^G3956 men.^G444 The Lord^G2962 is at hand.^G1451

so then^G3767 let us^G2518 not^G3361 sleep,^G2518 as^G5613 do the rest,^G3062 but^G235 let us watch^G1127 and^G2532 be sober.^G2532

instructing^G3811 us,^G2248 to the intent that,^G2443 denying^G720 ungodliness^G763 and^G2532 worldly^G2886 lusts,^G1939 we should live^G2198 soberly^G4996 and righteously^G1346 and^G2532 godly^G2153 in^G1722 this^G3588 present^G3568 world;^G165

Be^G3114 ye^G5210 also^G2532 patient;^G3114 establish^G4741 your^G5216 hearts:^G2588 for^G3754 the coming^G3952 of the Lord^G2962 is at hand.^G1448

Ye husbands,^G435 in like manner,^G3668 dwell with^G4924 [your wives] according to^G2596 knowledge,^G1108 giving^G632 honor^G5092 unto the woman,^G1134 as^G5613 unto the weaker^G772 vessel,^{G4632 G2532} as^G5613 being also joint-heirs^G4789 of the grace^G5485 of life;^G2222 to the end that^G1519 your^G5216 prayers^G4335 be^G1581 not^G3361 hindered.^G1581

The Lord^G2962 is^G1019 not^G3756 slack^G1019 concerning his promise,^G1860 as^G5613 some^G5100 count^G2233 slackness;^G1022 but^G235 is longsuffering^G3114 to^G1519 you-ward,^G2248 not^G3361 wishing that^G1014 any^G5100 should perish,^G622 but that^G235 all^G3956 should come^G5562 to^G1519 repentance.^G3341

(Behold,^G2400 I come^G2064 as^G5613 a thief.^G2812 Blessed^G3107 is he^G3588 that watcheth,^G1127 and^G2532 keepeth^G5083 his^G846 garments,^G2440 lest^G3363 he walk^G4043 naked,^G1131 and^G2532 they see^G991 his^G846 shame.)^G808
