He that smiteth^H5221 a man,^H376 so that he dieth,^H4191 shall surely^H4191 be put to death.^H4191

and all the wickedness^H7451 of the men^H582 of Shechem^H7927 did God^H430 requite^H7725 upon their heads:^H7218 and upon them came^H935 the curse^H7045 of Jotham^H3147 the son^H1121 of Jerubbaal.^H3378

And say^H559 ye to Amasa,^H6021 Art thou not my bone^H6106 and my flesh?^H1320 God^H430 do^H6213 so to me, and more^H3254 also, if thou be not captain^H8269 of the host^H6635 before^H6440 me continually^H3117 in the room^H8478 of Joab.^H3097

Do^H6213 therefore according to thy wisdom,^H2451 and let not his hoar head^H7872 go down^H3381 to Sheol^H7585 in peace.^H7965

So shall their blood^H1818 return^H7725 upon the head^H7218 of Joab,^H3097 and upon the head^H7218 of his seed^H2233 for ever:^H5769 but unto David,^H1732 and unto his seed,^H2233 and unto his house,^H1004 and unto his throne,^H3678 shall there be peace^H7965 for^H5704 ever^H5769 from Jehovah.^H3068

And David^H1732 said,^H559 Solomon^H8010 my son^H1121 is young^H5288 and tender,^H7390 and the house^H1004 that is to be builded^H1129 for Jehovah^H3068 must be exceeding^H4605 magnificent,^H1431 of fame^H8034 and of glory^H8597 throughout all countries:^H776 I will therefore make preparation^H3559 for it. So David^H1732 prepared^H3559 abundantly^H7230 before^H6440 his death.^H4194

Also unto thee, O Lord,^H136 belongeth lovingkindness;^H2617 For thou renderest^H7999 to every man^H376 according to his work.^H4639

Morning^H1242 by morning will I destroy^H6789 all the wicked^H7563 of the land;^H776 To cut off^H3772 all the workers^H6466 of iniquity^H205 from the city^H5892 of Jehovah.^H3068

Take away^H1898 the wicked^H7563 [from] before^H6440 the king,^H4428 And his throne^H3678 shall be established^H3559 in righteousness.^H6664

and say^H559 unto him, Take heed,^H8104 and be quiet;^H8252 fear^H3372 not, neither let thy heart be faint,^H7401 because of these two^H8147 tails^H2180 of smoking^H6226 firebrands,^H181 for the fierce^H2750 anger^H639 of Rezin^H7526 and Syria,^H758 and of the son^H1121 of Remaliah.^H7425
