TSK · 2 Samuel 5:2

To-morrow^H4279 about this time^H6256 I will send^H7971 thee a man^H376 out of the land^H776 of Benjamin,^H1144 and thou shalt anoint^H4886 him to be prince^H5057 over my people^H5971 Israel;^H3478 and he shall save^H3467 my people^H5971 out of the hand^H3027 of the Philistines:^H6430 for I have looked^H7200 upon my people,^H5971 because their cry^H6818 is come^H935 unto me.

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Samuel,^H8050 How long wilt thou mourn^H56 for Saul,^H7586 seeing I have rejected^H3988 him from being king^H4427 over Israel?^H3478 fill^H4390 thy horn^H7161 with oil,^H8081 and go:^H3212 I will send^H7971 thee to Jesse^H3448 the Beth-lehemite;^H1022 for I have provided^H7200 me a king^H4428 among his sons.^H1121

And David^H1732 went out^H3318 whithersoever Saul^H7586 sent^H7971 him, [and] behaved himself wisely:^H7919 and Saul^H7586 set^H7760 him over the men^H582 of war,^H4421 and it was good^H3190 in the sight^H5869 of all the people,^H5971 and also in the sight^H5869 of Saul's^H7586 servants.^H5650

But all Israel^H3478 and Judah^H3063 loved^H157 David;^H1732 for he went out^H3318 and came in^H935 before^H6440 them.

And it shall come to pass, when Jehovah^H3068 shall have done^H6213 to my lord^H3068 according to all the good^H2896 that he hath spoken^H1696 concerning thee, and shall have appointed^H6680 thee prince^H5057 over Israel,^H3478

In all places wherein I have walked^H1980 with all the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 spake^H1696 I a word^H1697 with any^H259 of the tribes^H7626 of Israel,^H3478 whom I commanded^H6680 to be shepherd^H7462 of my people^H5971 Israel,^H3478 saying,^H559 Why have ye not built^H1129 me a house^H1004 of cedar?^H730

Turn back,^H7725 and say^H559 to Hezekiah^H2396 the prince^H5057 of my people,^H5971 Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of David^H1732 thy father,^H1 I have heard^H8085 thy prayer,^H8605 I have seen^H7200 thy tears:^H1832 behold, I will heal^H7495 thee; on the third^H7992 day^H3117 thou shalt go up^H5927 unto the house^H1004 of Jehovah.^H3068

He will feed^H7462 his flock^H5739 like a shepherd,^H7462 he will gather^H6908 the lambs^H2922 in his arm,^H2220 and carry^H5375 them in his bosom,^H2436 [and] will gently lead^H5095 those that have their young.^H5763

And I will set up^H6965 one^H259 shepherd^H7462 over them, and he shall feed^H7462 them, even my servant^H5650 David;^H1732 he shall feed^H7462 them, and he shall be their shepherd.^H7462

And he shall stand,^H5975 and shall feed^H7462 his flock in the strength^H5797 of Jehovah,^H3068 in the majesty^H1347 of the name^H8034 of Jehovah^H3068 his God:^H430 and they shall abide;^H3427 for now shall he be great^H1431 unto the ends^H657 of the earth.^H776

To him^G5129 the porter^G2377 openeth;^G455 and^G2532 the sheep^G4263 hear^G191 his^G846 voice:^G5456 and^G2532 he calleth^G2564 his own^G2398 sheep^G4263 by^G2596 name,^G3686 and^G2532 leadeth^G1806 them^G846 out.^G1806

For^G1063 it became^G4241 him,^G846 for^G1223 whom^G3739 are all things,^G3956 and^G2532 through^G1223 whom^G3739 are all things,^G3956 in bringing^G71 many^G4183 sons^G5207 unto^G1519 glory,^G1391 to make^G5048 the author^G747 of^G4991 their^G846 salvation^G4991 perfect^G5048 through^G1223 sufferings.^G3804
