Then^G5119 came^G4334 to him^G846 the mother^G3384 of^G5207 the sons^G5207 of Zebedee^G2199 with^G3326 her^G846 sons,^G5207 worshipping^G4352 [him], and^G2532 asking^G154 a certain thing^G5100 of^G3844 him.^G846

But^G1161 they^G3588 held their peace:^G4623 for^G1063 they had disputed^G1256 one^G4314 with another^G240 on^G1722 the way,^G3598 who^G5101 [was] the greatest.^G3187

And^G2532 there come near unto^G4365 him^G846 James^G2385 and^G2532 John,^G2491 the sons^G5207 of Zebedee,^G2199 saying^G3004 unto him, Teacher,^G1320 we would^G2309 that^G2443 thou shouldest do^G4160 for us^G2254 whatsoever^G3739 we^G1437 shall ask^G154 of thee.

And^G1161 there arose also^G2532 a contention^G5379 among^G1722 them,^G846 which^G5101 of them^G846 was^G1511 accounted^G1380 to be^G1511 greatest.^G3187

[ doing] nothing^G3367 through^G2596 faction^G2052 or^G2228 through vainglory,^G2754 but^G235 in lowliness of mind^{G5012 G2233} each^G240 counting^G2233 other^G240 better^G5242 than himself;^G1438

We^G2249 therefore^G3767 ought^G3784 to welcome^G618 such,^G5108 that^G2443 we may be^G1096 fellow-workers^G4904 for the truth.^G225
