Vengeance^H5359 is mine, and recompense,^H8005 At the time^H6256 when their foot^H7272 shall slide:^H4131 For the day^H3117 of their calamity^H343 is at hand,^H7138 And the things that are to come^H6264 upon them shall make haste.^H2363

He smote^H5221 the Philistines^H6430 unto Gaza^H5804 and the borders^H1366 thereof, from the tower^H4026 of the watchmen^H5341 to the fortified^H4013 city.^H5892

But God^H430 is the judge:^H8199 He putteth down^H8213 one, and lifteth up^H7311 another.

[ to wit], Jerusalem,^H3389 and the cities^H5892 of Judah,^H3063 and the kings^H4428 thereof, and the princes^H8269 thereof, to make^H5414 them a desolation,^H2723 an astonishment,^H8047 a hissing,^H8322 and a curse,^H7045 as it is this day;^H3117

but I will send^H7971 a fire^H784 into the house^H1004 of Hazael,^H2371 and it shall devour^H398 the palaces^H759 of Ben-hadad.^H1130

Ashkelon^H831 shall see^H7200 it, and fear;^H3372 Gaza^H5804 also, and shall be sore^H3966 pained;^H2342 and Ekron,^H6138 for her expectation^H4007 shall be put to shame;^H3001 and the king^H4428 shall perish^H6 from Gaza,^H5804 and Ashkelon^H831 shall not be inhabited.^H3427
