TSK · Amos 5:6

And Israel^H3478 beheld^H7200 Joseph's^H3130 sons,^H1121 and said,^H559 Who are these?

For Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 is a devouring^H398 fire,^H784 a jealous^H7067 God.^H430

And they shall divide^H2505 it into seven^H7651 portions:^H2506 Judah^H3063 shall abide^H5975 in his border^H1366 on the south,^H5045 and the house^H1004 of Joseph^H3130 shall abide^H5975 in their border^H1366 on the north.^H6828

For thy servant^H5650 doth know^H3045 that I have sinned:^H2398 therefore, behold, I am come^H935 this day^H3117 the first^H7223 of all the house^H1004 of Joseph^H3130 to go down^H3381 to meet^H7125 my lord^H113 the king.^H4428

Because they have forsaken^H5800 me, and have burned incense^H6999 unto other^H312 gods,^H430 that they might provoke me to anger^H3707 with all the works^H4639 of their hands;^H3027 therefore is my wrath^H2534 poured out^H5413 upon this place,^H4725 and it shall not be quenched.^H3518

And the strong^H2634 shall be as tow,^H5296 and his work^H6467 as a spark;^H5213 and they shall both^H8147 burn^H1197 together,^H3162 and none shall quench^H3518 them.

Circumcise^H4135 yourselves to Jehovah,^H3068 and take away^H5493 the foreskins^H6190 of your heart,^H3824 ye men^H376 of Judah^H3063 and inhabitants^H3427 of Jerusalem;^H3389 lest my wrath^H2534 go forth^H3318 like fire,^H784 and burn^H1197 so that none can quench^H3518 it, because^H6440 of the evil^H7455 of your doings.^H4611

But Jeremiah^H3414 said,^H559 They shall not deliver^H5414 thee. Obey,^H8085 I beseech thee, the voice^H6963 of Jehovah,^H3068 in that which I speak^H1696 unto thee: so it shall be well^H3190 with thee, and thy soul^H5315 shall live.^H2421

and say^H559 to the land^H127 of Israel,^H3478 Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth^H3318 my sword^H2719 out of its sheath,^H8593 and will cut off^H3772 from thee the righteous^H6662 and the wicked.^H7563

say^H1696 unto them, Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H136 Behold, I will take^H3947 the stick^H6086 of Joseph,^H3130 which is in the hand^H3027 of Ephraim,^H669 and the tribes^H7626 of Israel^H3478 his companions;^H2270 and I will put^H5414 them with it, [even] with the stick^H6086 of Judah,^H3063 and make^H6213 them one^H259 stick,^H6086 and they shall be one^H259 in my hand.^H3027

Seek^H1875 good,^H2896 and not evil,^H7451 that ye may live;^H2421 and so Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of hosts,^H6635 will be with you, as ye say.^H559

And I will strengthen^H1396 the house^H1004 of Judah,^H3063 and I will save^H3467 the house^H1004 of Joseph,^H3130 and I will bring them back;^H3427 for I have mercy^H7355 upon them; and they shall be as though^H834 I had not cast them off:^H2186 for I am Jehovah^H3068 their God,^H430 and I will hear^H6030 them.
