And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto him, What is that in thy hand?^H3027 And he said,^H559 A rod.^H4294

And thou shalt take^H3947 in thy hand^H3027 this rod,^H4294 wherewith thou shalt do^H6213 the signs.^H226

And Moses^H4872 and Aaron^H175 went in^H935 unto Pharaoh,^H6547 and they did^H6213 so, as Jehovah^H3068 had commanded:^H6680 and Aaron^H175 cast down^H7993 his rod^H4294 before^H6440 Pharaoh^H6547 and before^H6440 his servants,^H5650 and it became a serpent.^H8577

And Moses^H4872 stretched forth^H5186 his rod^H4294 over the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 and Jehovah^H3068 brought^H5090 an east^H6921 wind^H7307 upon the land^H776 all that day,^H3117 and all the night;^H3915 and when it was morning,^H1242 the east^H6921 wind^H7307 brought^H5375 the locusts.^H697

Ask^H7592 thee a sign^H226 of Jehovah^H3068 thy God;^H430 ask^H7592 it either in the depth,^H6009 or in the height^H1361 above.^H4605

But^G1161 he^G3588 answered^G611 and said^G2036 unto them,^G846 An^G1074 evil^G4190 and^G2532 adulterous^G3428 generation^G1074 seeketh after^G1934 a sign;^G4592 and^G2532 there shall^G1325 no^G3756 sign^G4592 be given^G1325 it^G846 but^G1487 the^G3361 sign^G4592 of Jonah^G2495 the prophet:^G4396

They said^G2036 therefore^G3767 unto him,^G846 What^G5101 then^G3767 doest^G4160 thou^G4771 for a sign,^G4592 that^G2443 we may see,^G1492 and^G2532 believe^G4100 thee?^G4671 what^G5101 workest^G2038 thou?
