And Joseph^H3130 was the governor^H7989 over the land;^H776 he it was that sold^H7666 to all the people^H5971 of the land.^H776 And Joseph's^H3130 brethren^H251 came,^H935 and bowed down^H7812 themselves to him with their faces^H639 to the earth.^H776

And the man,^H376 the lord^H113 of the land,^H776 said^H559 unto us, Hereby shall I know^H3045 that ye are true^H3651 men: leave^H3240 one^H259 of your brethren^H251 with me, and take^H3947 [grain for] the famine^H7459 of your houses,^H1004 and go your way;^H3212

And they told^H5046 him, saying,^H559 Joseph^H3130 is yet alive,^H2416 and he is ruler^H4910 over all the land^H776 of Egypt.^H4714 And his heart^H3820 fainted,^H6313 for he believed^H539 them not.

And all the king's^H4428 servants,^H5650 that were in the king's^H4428 gate,^H8179 bowed^H3766 down, and did reverence^H7812 to Haman;^H2001 for the king^H4428 had so commanded^H6680 concerning him. But Mordecai^H4782 bowed^H3766 not down, nor did him reverence.^H7812

For out of prison^H631 he came^H3318 forth to be king;^H4427 yea, even in his kingdom^H4438 he was born^H3205 poor.^H7326

and^G2532 delivered^G1807 him^G846 out of^G1537 all^G3956 his^G846 afflictions,^G2347 and^G2532 gave^G1325 him^G846 favor^G5485 and^G2532 wisdom^G4678 before Pharaoh^G5328 king^G935 of^G1726 Egypt;^G125 and^G2532 he made^G2525 him^G846 governor^G2233 over^G1909 Egypt^G125 and^G2532 all^G3650 his^G846 house.^G3624
