And Jehovah^H3068 God^H430 said^H559 unto the serpent,^H5175 Because thou^H859 hast done^H6213 this, cursed^H779 art thou above all cattle,^H929 and above every beast^H2416 of the field;^H7704 upon thy belly^H1512 shalt thou go,^H3212 and dust^H6083 shalt thou eat^H398 all the days^H3117 of thy life:^H2416

And Ham,^H2526 the father^H1 of Canaan,^H3667 saw^H7200 the nakedness^H6172 of his father,^H1 and told^H5046 his two^H8147 brethren^H251 without.^H2351

Cursed^H779 be he that setteth light^H7034 by his father^H1 or his mother.^H517 And all the people^H5971 shall say,^H559 Amen.^H543

Now therefore ye are cursed,^H779 and there shall never fail^H3772 to be of you bondmen,^H5650 both hewers^H2404 of wood^H6086 and drawers^H7579 of water^H4325 for the house^H1004 of my God.^H430

And it came to pass, when Israel^H3478 was waxed strong,^H2388 that they put^H7760 the Canaanites^H3669 to taskwork,^H4522 and did not utterly^H3423 drive them out.^H3423

As for all the people^H5971 that were left^H3498 of the Hittites,^H2850 and the Amorites,^H567 and the Perizzites,^H6522 and the Hivites,^H2340 and the Jebusites,^H2983 that were not of Israel;^H3478
