And Israel^H3478 saw^H7200 the great^H1419 work^H3027 which Jehovah^H3068 did^H6213 upon the Egyptians,^H4714 and the people^H5971 feared^H3372 Jehovah:^H3068 and they believed^H539 in Jehovah,^H3068 and in his servant^H5650 Moses.^H4872

O Lord^H136 Jehovah,^H3069 thou hast begun^H2490 to show^H7200 thy servant^H5650 thy greatness,^H1433 and thy strong^H2389 hand:^H3027 for what god^H410 is there in heaven^H8064 or in earth,^H776 that can do^H6213 according to thy works,^H4639 and according to thy mighty^H1369 acts?

So Moses^H4872 the servant^H5650 of Jehovah^H3068 died^H4191 there in the land^H776 of Moab,^H4124 according to the word^H6310 of Jehovah.^H3068

Only be strong^H2388 and very^H3966 courageous,^H553 to observe^H8104 to do^H6213 according to all the law,^H8451 which Moses^H4872 my servant^H5650 commanded^H6680 thee: turn^H5493 not from it to the right hand^H3225 or to the left,^H8040 that thou mayest have good success^H7919 whithersoever thou goest.^H3212

as Moses^H4872 the servant^H5650 of Jehovah^H3068 commanded^H6680 the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 as it is written^H3789 in the book^H5612 of the law^H8451 of Moses,^H4872 an altar^H4196 of unhewn^H8003 stones,^H68 upon which no man had lifted up^H5130 any iron:^H1270 and they offered^H5927 thereon burnt-offerings^H5930 unto Jehovah,^H3068 and sacrificed^H2076 peace-offerings.^H5930

and madest known^H3045 unto them thy holy^H6944 sabbath,^H7676 and commandedst^H6680 them commandments,^H4687 and statutes,^H2706 and a law,^H8451 by^H3027 Moses^H4872 thy servant,^H5650

Who^G5101 then^G687 is^G2076 the faithful^G4103 and^G2532 wise^G5429 servant,^G1401 whom^G3739 his^G846 lord^G2962 hath set^G2525 over^G1909 his^G846 household,^G2322 to give^G1325 them^G846 their food^G5160 in^G1722 due season?^G2540

And^G1161 the Lord^G2962 said,^G2036 Who^G5101 then^G687 is^G2076 the^G3623 faithful^G4103 and^G2532 wise^G5429 steward,^G3623 whom^G3739 his lord^G2962 shall set^G2525 over^G1909 his^G846 household,^G2322 to give^G1325 them their portion of food^G4620 in^G1722 due season?^G2540

And^G2532 beginning^G756 from^G575 Moses^G3475 and^G2532 from^G575 all^G3956 the prophets,^G4396 he interpreted^G1329 to them^G846 in^G1722 all^G3956 the scriptures^G1124 the things^G3588 concerning^G4012 himself.^G1438

Ye search^G2045 the scriptures,^G1124 because^G3754 ye^G5210 think^G1380 that in^G1722 them^G846 ye have^G2192 eternal^G166 life;^G2222 and^G2532 these are^G1526 they^G1565 which bear witness^G3140 of^G4012 me;^G1700

^G1063 Moses^G3475 indeed^G3303 said,^{G2036 G3754 G4314 G3962} A prophet^G4396 shall^G450 the Lord^G2962 God^G2316 raise up^G450 unto^G4314 you^G5213 from among^G1537 your^G5216 brethren,^G80 like unto^G5613 me.^G1691 To him^G846 shall ye hearken^G191 in^G2596 all things^G3956 whatsoever^{G3745 G302} he shall speak^G2980 unto^G4314 you.^G5209

And^G1161 when they had appointed^G5021 him^G846 a day,^G2250 they came^G2240 to^G4314 him^G846 into^G1519 his lodging^G3578 in great number;^G4119 to whom^G3739 he expounded^G1620 [the matter,] testifying^G1263 the kingdom^G932 of God,^G2316 and^G5037 persuading^G3982 them^G846 concerning^G4012 Jesus,^G2424 both^G5037 from^G575 the law^G3551 of Moses^G3475 and^G2532 from the prophets,^G4396 from^G575 morning^G4404 till^G2193 evening.^G2073

Here, moreover,^{G3063 G3739} it is required^G2212 in^G1722 stewards,^G3623 that^G2443 a man^G5100 be found^G2147 faithful.^G4103

who was^G5607 faithful^G4103 to him that appointed^G4160 him,^G846 as^G5613 also^G2532 was Moses^G3475 in^G1722 all^G3650 his^G846 house.^G3624

the Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 this^G5124 signifying,^G1213 that the way^G3598 into the holy place^G39 hath^G5319 not yet^G3380 been made manifest,^G5319 while the first^G4413 tabernacle^G4633 is^G2192 yet^G2089 standing;^G4714

Concerning^G4012 which^G3739 salvation^G4991 the prophets^G4396 sought^G1567 and^G2532 searched diligently,^G1830 who prophesied^G4395 of^G4012 the grace^G5485 that [should come] unto^G1519 you:^G5209
