And Elisha^H477 saw^H7200 it, and he cried,^H6817 My father,^H1 my father,^H1 the chariots^H7393 of Israel^H3478 and the horsemen^H6571 thereof! And he saw^H7200 him no more: and he took hold^H2388 of his own clothes,^H899 and rent^H7167 them in two^H8147 pieces.^H7168

Now Elisha^H477 was fallen sick^H2470 of his sickness^H2483 whereof he died:^H4191 and Joash^H3101 the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 came down^H3381 unto him, and wept^H1058 over him,^H6440 and said,^H559 My father,^H1 my father,^H1 the chariots^H7393 of Israel^H3478 and the horsemen^H6571 thereof!

A son^H1121 honoreth^H3513 his father,^H1 and a servant^H5650 his master:^H113 if then I am a father,^H1 where is mine honor?^H3519 and if I am a master,^H113 where is my fear?^H4172 saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 unto you, O priests,^H3548 that despise^H959 my name.^H8034 And ye say,^H559 Wherein have we despised^H959 thy name?^H8034

For^G1063 after all^G3956 these things^G5023 do^G1934 the Gentiles^G1484 seek;^G1934 for^G1063 your^G5216 heavenly^G3770 Father^G3962 knoweth^G1492 that^G3754 ye have need^G5535 of^G5130 all^G537 these things.^G5130

Rebuke^G1969 not^G3361 an elder,^G4245 but^G235 exhort^G3870 him as^G5613 a father;^G3962 the younger men^G3501 as^G5613 brethren:^G80

Behold^G1492 what manner of^G4217 love^G26 the Father^G3962 hath bestowed^G1325 upon us,^G2254 that^G2443 we should be called^G2564 children^G5043 of God;^G2316 and [such] we are.
