But Absalom^H53 sent^H7971 spies^H7270 throughout all the tribes^H7626 of Israel,^H3478 saying,^H559 As soon as ye hear^H8085 the sound^H6963 of the trumpet,^H7782 then ye shall say,^H559 Absalom^H53 is king^H4427 in Hebron.^H2275

And Ahithophel^H302 said^H559 unto Absalom,^H53 Go in^H935 unto thy father's^H1 concubines,^H6370 that he hath left^H3240 to keep^H8104 the house;^H1004 and all Israel^H3478 will hear^H8085 that thou art abhorred^H887 of thy father:^H1 then will the hands^H3027 of all that are with thee be strong.^H2388

For it was not an enemy^H341 that reproached^H2778 me; Then I could have borne^H5375 it: Neither was it he that hated^H8130 me that did magnify^H1431 himself against me; Then I would have hid^H5641 myself from him:

For even thy brethren,^H251 and the house^H1004 of thy father,^H1 even they have dealt treacherously^H898 with thee; even they have cried^H7121 aloud^H4392 after^H310 thee: believe^H539 them not, though they speak^H1696 fair words^H2896 unto thee.

In thee have they set light^H7043 by father^H1 and mother;^H517 in the midst^H8432 of thee have they dealt^H6213 by oppression^H6233 with the sojourner;^H1616 in thee have they wronged^H3238 the fatherless^H3490 and the widow.^H490
