And they said,^H559 The God^H430 of the Hebrews^H5680 hath met^H7122 with us: let us go,^H3212 we pray thee, three^H7969 days'^H3117 journey^H1870 into the wilderness,^H4057 and sacrifice^H2076 unto Jehovah^H3068 our God,^H430 lest he fall^H6293 upon us with pestilence,^H1698 or with the sword.^H2719

And Moses^H4872 said^H559 unto Aaron,^H175 Take^H3947 thy censer,^H4289 and put^H5414 fire^H784 therein from off^H6440 the altar,^H4196 and lay^H7760 incense^H7004 thereon, and carry^H3212 it quickly^H4120 unto the congregation,^H5712 and make atonement^H3722 for them: for there is wrath^H7110 gone out^H3318 from Jehovah;^H3068 the plague^H5063 is begun.^H2490

And again^H3254 the anger^H639 of Jehovah^H3068 was kindled^H2734 against Israel,^H3478 and he moved^H5496 David^H1732 against them, saying,^H559 Go,^H3212 number^H4487 Israel^H3478 and Judah.^H3063

But the house^H1004 of Israel^H3478 rebelled^H4784 against me in the wilderness:^H4057 they walked^H1980 not in my statutes,^H2708 and they rejected^H3988 mine ordinances,^H4941 which if a man^H120 keep,^H6213 he shall live^H2425 in them; and my sabbaths^H7676 they greatly^H3966 profaned.^H2490 Then I said^H559 I would pour out^H8210 my wrath^H2534 upon them in the wilderness,^H4057 to consume^H3615 them.
