what prayer^H8605 and supplication^H8467 soever be made by any man,^H120 [or] by all thy people^H5971 Israel,^H3478 who shall know^H3045 every man^H376 the plague^H5061 of his own heart,^H3824 and spread forth^H6566 his hands^H3709 toward this house:^H1004

When I kept silence,^H2790 my bones^H6106 wasted away^H1086 Through my groaning^H7581 all the day^H3117 long.

I am faint^H6313 and sore^H3966 bruised:^H1794 I have groaned^H7580 by reason of the disquietness^H5100 of my heart.^H3820

For he will deliver^H5337 the needy^H34 when he crieth,^H7768 And the poor,^H6041 that hath no helper.^H5826

Cast^H2670 off among the dead,^H4191 Like the slain^H2491 that lie^H7901 in the grave,^H6913 Whom thou rememberest^H2142 no more, And they are cut off^H1504 from thy hand.^H3027

To hear^H8085 the sighing^H603 of the prisoner;^H615 To loose^H6605 those that are appointed^H1121 to death;^H8546

KAPH. My soul^H5315 fainteth^H3615 for thy salvation;^H8668 [But] I hope^H3176 in thy word.^H1697

Trouble^H6862 and anguish^H4689 have taken hold^H4672 on me; [Yet] thy commandments^H4687 are my delight.^H8191

A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths^H4615 have I cried^H7121 unto thee, O Jehovah.^H3068

He will again^H7725 have compassion^H7355 upon us; he will tread^H3533 our iniquities^H5771 under foot; and thou wilt cast^H7993 all their sins^H2403 into the depths^H4688 of the sea.^H3220

Blessed^G3107 are they that mourn:^G3996 for^G3754 they^G846 shall be comforted.^G3870

The Spirit^G4151 of the Lord^G2962 is upon^G1909 me,^G1691 Because^G1752 he anointed^G5548 me^G3165 to preach good tidings^G2097 to the poor:^G4434 He hath sent^G649 me^G3165 to proclaim^G2784 release^G859 to the captives,^G164 And^G2532 recovering of sight^G309 to the blind,^G5185 To set^G649 at^G1722 liberty^G859 them that are bruised,^G3739

For^G1063 the law^G3551 of the Spirit^G4151 of life^G2222 in^G1722 Christ^G5547 Jesus^G2424 made^G1659 me^G3165 free^G1659 from^G575 the law^G3551 of sin^G266 and^G2532 of death.^G2288

And in like^G5615 manner the Spirit^G4151 also^G2532 helpeth^G4878 our^G2257 infirmity:^G769 for^G1063 we know^G1492 not^G3756 how^G5101 to pray^G4336 as^G2526 we ought;^G1163 but^G235 the Spirit^G4151 himself^G846 maketh intercession^G5241 for^G5228 [us]^G2257 with groanings^G4726 which cannot be uttered;^G215

And^G2532 by^G3361 reason^G2443 of the exceeding greatness^G5236 of the revelations,^G602 that I should not be exalted overmuch,^G5229 there was given^G1325 to me^G3427 a thorn^G4647 in the flesh,^G4561 a messenger^G32 of Satan^G4566 to^G2443 buffet^G2852 me,^G3165 that^G2443 I should not^G3361 be exalted overmuch.^G5229

^G2532 The Lord^G2962 will deliver^G4506 me^G3165 from^G575 every^G3956 evil^G4190 work,^G2041 and^G2532 will save^G4982 me unto^G1519 his^G846 heavenly^G2032 kingdom:^G932 to whom^G3739 [be] the glory^G1391 for^G1519 ever^G165 and ever.^G165 Amen.^G281

and^G2532 might deliver^G525 all them^G5128 who^G3745 through^G1223 fear^G5401 of death^G2288 were^G2258 all^G3956 their lifetime^G2198 subject^G1777 to bondage.^G1397
