TSK · Zechariah 1:2

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Behold, I will bring^H935 evil^H7451 upon this place,^H4725 and upon the inhabitants^H3427 thereof, even all the words^H1697 of the book^H5612 which the king^H4428 of Judah^H3063 hath read.^H7121

because thy heart^H3824 was tender,^H7401 and thou didst humble^H3665 thyself before^H6440 Jehovah,^H3068 when thou heardest^H8085 what I spake^H1696 against this place,^H4725 and against the inhabitants^H3427 thereof, that they should become a desolation^H8047 and a curse,^H7045 and hast rent^H7167 thy clothes,^H899 and wept^H1058 before^H6440 me; I also have heard^H8085 thee, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

And he also rebelled^H4775 against king^H4428 Nebuchadnezzar,^H5019 who had made him swear^H7650 by God:^H430 but he stiffened^H7185 his neck,^H6203 and hardened^H553 his heart^H3824 against turning^H7725 unto Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel.^H3478

And after^H310 all that is come^H935 upon us for our evil^H7451 deeds,^H4639 and for our great^H1419 guilt,^H819 seeing that you our God^H430 have punished^H2820 us less^H4295 than our iniquities^H5771 deserve, and have given^H5414 us such a remnant,^H6413

Michtam of David, to teach; when he strove with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, and Joab returned, and smote of Edom in the Valley of Salt twelve thousand. O God^H430 thou hast cast us off,^H2186 thou hast broken^H6555 us down; Thou hast been angry;^H599 oh restore us again.^H7725

and they came in,^H935 and possessed^H3423 it, but they obeyed^H8085 not thy voice,^H6963 neither walked^H1980 in thy law;^H8451 they have done^H6213 nothing of all that thou commandedst^H6680 them to do:^H6213 therefore thou hast caused all this evil^H7451 to come^H7122 upon them.

Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass^H5674 by?^H1870 Behold,^H5027 and see^H7200 if there be^H3426 any sorrow^H4341 like unto my sorrow,^H4341 which is brought^H5953 upon me, Wherewith Jehovah^H3068 hath afflicted^H3013 [me] in the day^H3117 of his fierce^H2740 anger.^H639

We^H5168 have transgressed^H6586 and have rebelled;^H4784 thou hast not pardoned.^H5545

Therefore have I poured out^H8210 mine indignation^H2195 upon them; I have consumed^H3615 them with the fire^H784 of my wrath:^H5678 their own way^H1870 have I brought^H5414 upon their heads,^H7218 saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 Jehovah.^H3069

Gather yourselves together,^H7197 yea, gather together,^H7197 O nation^H1471 that hath no shame;^H3700

For thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts:^H6635 As I thought^H2161 to do evil^H7489 unto you, when your fathers^H1 provoked me to wrath,^H7107 saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 and I repented^H5162 not;

Which^G5101 of the prophets^G4396 did^G1377 not^G3756 your^G5216 fathers^G3962 persecute?^G1377 and^G2532 they killed^G615 them that^G3588 showed before^G4293 of^G4012 the coming^G1660 of the Righteous One;^G1342 of whom^G3739 ye^G5210 have now^G3568 become^G1096 betrayers^G4273 and^G2532 murderers;^G5406
