And washe your clothes the seuenth day, and ye shalbe cleane, and afterwarde come into the hoast.

And nowe my lorde O king, the eyes of all Israel wayte on thee, that thou shouldest tell them who ought to sit on the seate of my lord the king after him:

And the king commaunded them to bring great stones, costly stones, & hewed stones, for the foundatio of the house.

But God saide vnto me: thou shalt not builde an house for my name, because thou hast ben a man of warre, and hast shed blood.
