TSK · 1 John 1:9

Understande therfore, that the Lorde thy God he is God, and that a true God, which kepeth appoyntment and mercie vnto them that loue hym and kepe his commaundementes, euen throughout a thousande generations:

Yet if they repent in their heart in the lande where they be in captiuitie, and turne, and pray vnto thee in the land of their captiuitie, saying, We haue sinned, we haue done euyll and wickedly:

And they that were of the seede of Israel, were separated from all the straunge children, and stoode & knowledged their sinnes, & the wickednes of their fathers:

Who can knowe his owne errours? Oh cleanse thou me from those that I am not priuie of.

Washe me throughly from myne iniquitie: and clense me from my sinne.

Drawe nye, come hyther, and let them aske counsaile one at another, and shew foorth what is he that told this before? or who spake of it euer since the beginning? haue not I the Lorde done it? without whom there is none other God, the true God and sauiour, and there is els none but I.

Newe mercyes shall the Lord shewe vpon thee early in the day springing, (O Lorde) great is thy faythfulnesse.

They shall also defile them selues no more with their idoles and abhominations, and al their wicked doynges: I wil saue them out of all their dwelling places wherin they haue sinned, and will so cleanse them, that they shalbe my people, and I wilbe their God.

Reioyce thou greatly O daughter Sion, be glad O daughter Hierusalem: For lo, the king commeth vnto thee, euen the righteous and sauiour, lowly & simple is he, he rydeth vpon an Asse and vpon the foale of an Asse.

And all the land of Iurie, and they of Hierusalem, went out vnto hym, and were all baptized of hym in the ryuer of Iordane, confessyng their synnes.

And many that beleued, came & confessed, and shewed their workes.

God is faythfull, by whom ye are called vnto the felowship of his sonne Iesus Christe our Lorde.

To sanctifie it, clensyng it in the fountayne of water in the worde,

Which gaue hym selfe for vs, that he myght redeeme vs from all vnryghteousnesse, and pourge vs a peculier people vnto hym selfe, zelous of good workes.

Let vs holde the profession of the hope without waueryng, (for he is faythfull that promised:)

But and yf we walke in light, euen as he is in lyght, then haue we felowship one with another, and the blood of Iesus Christ his sonne clenseth vs from all sinne.
