This is the worde whiche the Lorde hath commaunded: gather of it euerye man for him selfe for to eate, a gomer full for euery man, according to the number of your soules, and take euery man for them whiche are in his tentes.
Beholde, the eye of God is vpon them that feare hym: and vpon them that wayteth after his mercy.
Remoue farre fro me vanitie and lyes, geue me neither pouertie nor riches, only graunt me a necessary lyuyng:

Our fathers dyd eate Manna in the desert, as it is written: He gaue them bread from heauen to eate.
But hauyng foode and rayment, we must therwith be content.
