Ye shall know them by their fruites. Doe men gather grapes of thornes? or figges of thistles?

Euen as Dauid declareth the blessednesse of the man, vnto whom God imputeth righteousnes without workes, saying,

For he that doubteth, is condemned if he eate, because he eateth not of faith: and whatsoeuer is not of faith, is sinne.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, let him be a newe creature. Olde things are passed away: beholde, all things are become newe.

For in Iesus Christ neither circumcision auaileth any thing, neither vncircumcision, but faith which worketh by loue.

For the end of the commaundement is loue out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith vnfained.

For that grace of God, that bringeth saluation vnto all men, hath appeared,

By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them which obeyed not, when she had receiued the spies peaceably.

What auaileth it, my brethren, though a man saith he hath faith, when he hath no workes? can that faith saue him?

Who is a wise man & endued with knowledge among you? let him shew by good conuersation his workes in meekenesse of wisdome.
