Or who among you has become engaged to a woman but has not married her? He may go home, lest he die in battle and someone else marry her.”

Enjoy life with your beloved wife during all the days of your fleeting life that God has given you on earth during all your fleeting days; for that is your reward in life and in your burdensome work on earth.

But from the beginning of creation he made them male and female.

To the married I give this command– not I, but the Lord– a wife should not divorce a husband

In the same way husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
