TSK · Deuteronomy 5:6

In the future, when your son asks you‘What is this?’ you are to tell him,‘With a mighty hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the land of slavery.

“I, the LORD, am your God, who brought you from the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery.

But you who remained faithful to the LORD your God are still alive to this very day, every one of you.

be sure you do not feel self-important and forget the LORD your God who brought you from the land of Egypt, the place of slavery,

In your distress you called out and I rescued you. I answered you from a dark thundercloud. I tested you at the waters of Meribah.(Selah)

Those are the terms that I charged your ancestors to keep when I brought them out of Egypt, that place which was like an iron-smelting furnace. I said at that time,“Obey me and carry out the terms of the covenant exactly as I commanded you. If you do, you will be my people and I will be your God.
