Like cloudy skies and wind that produce no rain, so is the one who boasts of a gift not given.

Then Jesus came up and said to them,“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

When they arrived and gathered the church together, they reported all the things God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith for the Gentiles.

The whole group kept quiet and listened to Barnabas and Paul while they explained all the miraculous signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.

but I declared to those in Damascus first, and then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds consistent with repentance.

But thanks be to God that though you were slaves to sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching you were entrusted to,

I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused it to grow.

God’s Suffering Servants Now because we are fellow workers, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

But we will not boast beyond certain limits, but will confine our boasting according to the limits of the work to which God has appointed us, that reaches even as far as you.

For even if I wish to boast, I will not be a fool, for I would be telling the truth, but I refrain from this so that no one may regard me beyond what he sees in me or what he hears from me,

And whatever you do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

And by being perfected in this way, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

But be sure you live out the message and do not merely listen to it and so deceive yourselves.

But even when Michael the archangel was arguing with the devil and debating with him concerning Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a slanderous judgment, but said,“May the Lord rebuke you!”
