Solomon’s Wealth and Fame The people of Judah and Israel were as innumerable as the sand on the seashore; they had plenty to eat and drink and were happy.

At that time the LORD will whistle for flies from the distant streams of Egypt and for bees from the land of Assyria.

At that time the LORD will shake the tree, from the Euphrates River to the Stream of Egypt. Then you will be gathered up one by one, O Israelites.

Leave Babylon! Flee from the Babylonians! Announce it with a shout of joy! Make this known! Proclaim it throughout the earth! Say,‘The LORD protects his servant Jacob.

Those whom the LORD has ransomed will return; they will enter Zion with a happy shout. Unending joy will crown them, happiness and joy will overwhelm them; grief and suffering will disappear.

The Lord Gives an Invitation“Hey, all who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come! Buy and eat! Come! Buy wine and milk without money and without cost!

Listen to the LORD’s message, O nations. Proclaim it in the faraway lands along the sea. Say,“The one who scattered Israel will regather them. He will watch over his people like a shepherd watches over his flock.”

I will multiply your people– the whole house of Israel, all of it. The cities will be populated and the ruins rebuilt.

The Restoration of Israel(2:1) However, in the future the number of the people of Israel will be like the sand of the sea which can be neither measured nor numbered. Although it was said to them,“You are not my people,” it will be said to them,“You are children of the living God!”

Moreover, as for you, because of our covenant relationship secured with blood, I will release your prisoners from the waterless pit.

since he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
