(5:1) Solomon ruled all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These kingdoms paid tribute as Solomon’s subjects throughout his lifetime.

The mountains will bring news of peace to the people, and the hills will announce justice.
May he rule from sea to sea, and from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth!
He will call out to me,‘You are my father, my God, and the protector who delivers me.’
He will judge disputes between nations; he will settle cases for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nations will not take up the sword against other nations, and they will no longer train for war.
Israel is Reclaimed and Reunited At that time a root from Jesse will stand like a signal flag for the nations. Nations will look to him for guidance, and his residence will be majestic.
I have seen their behavior, but I will heal them. I will lead them, and I will provide comfort to them and those who mourn with them.
But I will have pity on the nation of Judah. I will deliver them by the LORD their God; I will not deliver them by the warrior’s bow, by sword, by military victory, by chariot horses, or by chariots.”
I will commit myself to you in faithfulness; then you will acknowledge the LORD.”
He will assume his post and shepherd the people by the LORD’s strength, by the sovereign authority of the LORD his God. They will live securely, for at that time he will be honored even in the distant regions of the earth.
The Lord Will Purify His People“In that day,” says the LORD,“I will destroy your horses from your midst, and smash your chariots.
From him will come the cornerstone, the wall peg, the battle bow, and every ruler.
and thus the Gentiles glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,“Because of this I will confess you among the Gentiles, and I will sing praises to your name.”
Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making his plea through us. We plead with you on Christ’s behalf,“Be reconciled to God!”
But now in Christ Jesus you who used to be far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
The Seventh Trumpet Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying:“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.”
