Than answered Rahel and Lea and sayde vnto him: we haue no parte nor enheritaunce in oure fathers hous

But ye that claue vnto the Lorde youre God, are alyue euery one of you this daye.

Then came vnto him the pharises temtinge him and sayinge to him: Ys it lawfull for a man to put awaye his wyfe for all maner of causes?

Which when he was come and had sene the grace of God was glad and exhorted them all that with purpose of hert they wolde continually cleave vnto ye Lorde.

Do ye not vnderstonde that he which coupleth him selfe with an harlot is become one body? For two (saith he) shalbe one flesshe.

Vnto the maryed comaunde not I but the Lorde: that the wyfe separate not her selfe from the man.

I will therfore that ye yonger weme mary and beare childre and gyde the housse and geve none occasio to ye adversary to speake evill
