And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made, even its base, and its shaft; its cups, its knops, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it:
And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.
And he built twenty cubits on the hinder part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor unto the walls [of the ceiling] : he built [them] for it within, for an oracle, even for the most holy place.
And he made the ten candlesticks of gold according to the ordinance concerning them; and he set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, When I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.
