After these things the word of Jehovah came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, [and] thy exceeding great reward.

Now therefore stand still and see this great thing, which Jehovah will do before your eyes.

They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;

[A Song of Ascents]. When Jehovah brought back those that returned to Zion, We were like unto them that dream.

The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

Sing, O ye heavens, for Jehovah hath done it; shout, ye lower parts of the earth; break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for Jehovah hath redeemed Jacob, and will glorify himself in Israel.

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands.

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and will show thee great things, and difficult, which thou knowest not.

but I will remove far off from you the northern [army], and will drive it into a land barren and desolate, its forepart into the eastern sea, and its hinder part [ into the western sea; and its stench shall come up, and its ill savor shall come up, because it hath done great things.

so again have I thought in these days to do good unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
