Thou hast broken down all his hedges; Thou hast brought his strongholds to ruin.
Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; new moon and sabbath, the calling of assemblies,-- I cannot away with iniquity and the solemn meeting. [
and I will lay it waste; it shall not be pruned nor hoed; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
Thy holy people possessed [it] but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.
