and it shall be for Aaron and his sons as [their] portion for ever from the children of Israel; for it is a heave-offering: and it shall be a heave-offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, even their heave-offering unto Jehovah.

And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, came into the wilderness of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.

Let Jehovah, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,

And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of Jehovah, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.

And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of good courage: for thou shalt go with this people into the land which Jehovah hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.

So Moses the servant of Jehovah died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of Jehovah.

And Eleazar the son of Aaron died; and they buried him in the hill of Phinehas his son, which was given him in the hill-country of Ephraim.

David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, [saying] ,

And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, shall see my face no more.

Yea, I will give diligence that at every time ye may be able after my decease to call these things to remembrance.
