To the law^H8451 and to the testimony!^H8584 if they speak^H559 not according to this word,^H1697 surely there is no morning^H7837 for them.

My people^H5971 ask^H7592 counsel at their stock,^H6086 and their staff^H4731 declareth^H5046 unto them; for the spirit^H7307 of whoredom^H2183 hath caused them to err,^H8582 and they have played the harlot,^H2181 [departing] from under their God.^H430

But as^H199 for me, I am full^H4390 of power^H3581 by the Spirit^H7307 of Jehovah,^H3068 and of judgment,^H4941 and of might,^H1369 to declare^H5046 unto Jacob^H3290 his transgression,^H6588 and to Israel^H3478 his sin.^H2403

They^G3004 said^G611 therefore^G3767 unto him,^G846 Where^G4226 is^G2076 thy^G4675 Father?^G3962 Jesus^G2424 answered,^G611 Ye^G1492 know^G1492 neither^G3777 me,^G1691 nor^G3777 my^G3450 Father:^G3962 if^G1487 ye knew me,^G1691 ye would know^{G1492 G302} my^G3450 Father^G3962 also.^G2532

And^G2532 other^G243 sheep^G4263 I have,^G2192 which^G3739 are^G2076 not^G3756 of^G1537 this^G3778 fold:^G833 them also^G2548 I^G3165 must^G1163 bring,^G71 and^G2532 they shall hear^G191 my^G3450 voice:^G5456 and^G2532 they shall become^G1096 one^G1520 flock,^G4167 one^G1520 shepherd.^G4166

Verily,^G281 verily,^G281 I say^G3004 unto you,^G5213 he that^G3588 receiveth^{G2983 G5100} whomsoever^G1437 I send^G3992 receiveth^G2983 me;^G1691 and^G1161 he that^G3588 receiveth^G2983 me^G1691 receiveth^G2983 him that^G3588 sent^G3992 me.^G3165

But^G1161 when^G3752 the Comforter^G3875 is come,^G2064 whom^G3739 I^G1473 will send^G3992 unto you^G5213 from^G3844 the Father,^G3962 [even] the Spirit^G4151 of truth,^G225 which^G3739 proceedeth^G1607 from^G3844 the Father,^G3962 he^G1565 shall bear witness^G3140 of^G4012 me:^G1700

Pilate^G4091 therefore^G3767 said^G2036 unto him,^G846 Art^G1488 thou^G4771 a king^G935 then?^G3766 Jesus^G2424 answered,^G611 Thou^G4771 sayest^G3004 that^G3754 I^G1473 am^G1510 a king.^G935 To^G1519 this end^G5124 have I^G1473 been^G1080 born,^G1080 and^G2532 to^G1519 this end^G5124 am I^G2064 come into^G1519 the world,^G2889 that^G2443 I should bear witness^G3140 unto the truth.^G225 Every one^G3956 that is^G5607 of^G1537 the truth^G225 heareth^G191 my^G3450 voice.^G5456

But^G1161 we^G2249 received,^G2983 not^G3756 the spirit^G4151 of the world,^G2889 but^G235 the spirit^G4151 which is^G3588 from^G1537 God;^G2316 that^G2443 we might know^G1492 the things that^G3588 were freely given^G5483 to us^G2254 of^G5259 God.^G2316

Ye look^G991 at the things^G3588 that are before^G2596 your face.^G4383 If^G1487 any man^G5100 trusteth^G3982 in himself^G1438 that he is^G1511 Christ's,^G5547 let him^G3049 consider^G3049 this^G5124 again^G3825 with^G575 himself,^G1438 that,^G3754 even^G2532 as^G2531 he^G846 is Christ's,^G5547 so^G3779 also^G2532 are we.^G2249

[None even he], whose^G3739 coming^G3952 is^G2076 according^G2596 to the working^G1753 of Satan^G4567 with^G1722 all^G3956 power^G1411 and^G2532 signs^G4592 and^G2532 lying^G5579 wonders,^G5059

that ye should remember^G3415 the words^G4487 which were spoken before^G4280 by^G5259 the holy^G40 prophets,^G4396 and^G2532 the commandments^G1785 of the Lord^G2962 and^G2532 Saviour^G4990 through your^G2257 apostles:^G652

Ye^G5210 are^G2075 of^G1537 God,^G2316 [my] little children,^G5040 and^G2532 have overcome^G3528 them:^G846 because^G3754 greater^G3187 is he^G2076 that^G3588 is in^G1722 you^G5213 than^G2228 he that^G3588 is in^G1722 the world.^G2889

But^G1161 ye,^G5210 beloved,^G27 remember^G3415 ye the words^G4487 which have been spoken before^G4280 by^G5259 the apostles^G652 of^G5259 our^G2257 Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ;^G5547
