So Hanun^H2586 took^H3947 David's^H1732 servants,^H5650 and shaved^H1548 them, and cut off^H3772 their garments^H4063 in the middle,^H2677 even to their buttocks,^H4667 and sent them away.^H7971

And^H853 I will give over^H5534 the Egyptians^H4714 into the hand^H3027 of a cruel^H7186 lord;^H113 and a fierce^H5794 king^H4428 shall rule^H4910 over them, saith^H5002 the Lord,^H113 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts.^H6635

Now the Egyptians^H4714 are men,^H120 and not God;^H410 and their horses^H5483 flesh,^H1320 and not spirit:^H7307 and when Jehovah^H3068 shall stretch out^H5186 his hand,^H3027 both he that helpeth^H5826 shall stumble,^H3782 and he that is helped^H5826 shall fall,^H5307 and they all shall be consumed^H3615 together.^H3162

And if thou say^H559 in thy heart,^H3824 Wherefore are these things come^H7122 upon me? for the greatness^H7230 of thine iniquity^H5771 are thy skirts^H7757 uncovered,^H1540 and thy heels^H6119 suffer violence.^H2554

O thou daughter^H1323 that dwellest^H3427 in Egypt,^H4714 furnish^H6213 thyself to go into captivity;^H3627 for Memphis^H5297 shall become a desolation,^H8047 and shall be burnt^H3341 up, without inhabitant.^H3427

At Tehaphnehes^H8471 also the day^H3117 shall withdraw^H2821 itself, when I shall break^H7665 there the yokes^H4133 of Egypt,^H4714 and the pride^H1347 of her power^H5797 shall cease^H7673 in her:^H1931 as for her, a cloud^H6051 shall cover^H3680 her, and her daughters^H1323 shall go^H3212 into captivity.^H7628
