But if ye will not hearken^H8085 unto me, and will not do^H6213 all these commandments;^H4687

lest there should be^H3426 among you man,^H376 or woman,^H802 or family,^H4940 or tribe,^H7626 whose heart^H3824 turneth away^H6437 this day^H3117 from Jehovah^H3068 our God,^H430 to go^H3212 to serve^H5647 the gods^H430 of those nations;^H1471 lest there should be^H3426 among you a root^H8328 that beareth^H6509 gall^H7219 and wormwood;^H3939

But Jeshurun^H3484 waxed fat,^H8080 and kicked:^H1163 Thou art waxed fat,^H8080 thou art grown thick,^H5666 thou art become sleek;^H3780 Then he forsook^H5203 God^H433 who made^H6213 him, And lightly esteemed^H5034 the Rock^H6697 of his salvation.^H3444

For I said,^H559 Lest they rejoice^H8055 over me: When my foot^H7272 slippeth,^H4131 they magnify^H1431 themselves against me.

Yea, thou turnest^H7725 back the edge^H6697 of his sword,^H2719 And hast not made him to stand^H6965 in the battle.^H4421

and Jehovah^H3068 hath brought^H935 it, and done^H6213 according as he spake:^H1696 because ye have sinned^H2398 against Jehovah,^H3068 and have not obeyed^H8085 his voice,^H6963 therefore this thing^H1697 is come upon you.

How hath the Lord^H136 covered^H5743 the daughter^H1323 of Zion^H6726 with a cloud^H5743 in his anger!^H639 He hath cast down^H7993 from heaven^H8064 unto the earth^H776 the beauty^H8597 of Israel,^H3478 And hath not remembered^H2142 his footstool^H1916 in the day^H3117 of his anger.^H639

Wherefore, as I live,^H2416 saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 Jehovah,^H136 surely, because thou hast defiled^H2930 my sanctuary^H4720 with all thy detestable things,^H8251 and with all thine abominations,^H8441 therefore will I also diminish^H1639 [thee]; neither shall mine eye^H5869 spare,^H2347 and I also will have no pity.^H2550

Therefore will I also deal^H6213 in wrath;^H2534 mine eye^H5869 shall not spare,^H2347 neither will I have pity;^H2550 and though they cry^H7121 in mine ears^H241 with a loud^H1419 voice,^H6963 yet will I not hear^H8085 them.

And he hath confirmed^H6965 his words,^H1697 which he spake^H1696 against us, and against our judges^H8199 that judged^H8199 us, by bringing^H935 upon us a great^H1419 evil;^H7451 for under the whole heaven^H8064 hath not been done^H6213 as hath been done^H6213 upon Jerusalem.^H3389

I will utterly^H622 consume^H5486 all things from off the face of the ground,^H6440 saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068
