He raiseth up^H6965 the poor^H1800 out of the dust,^H6083 He lifteth up^H7311 the needy^H34 from the dunghill,^H830 To make them sit^H3427 with princes,^H5081 And inherit^H5157 the throne^H3678 of glory:^H3519 For the pillars^H4690 of the earth^H776 are Jehovah's,^H3068 And he hath set^H7896 the world^H8398 upon them.

He raiseth up^H6965 the poor^H1800 out of the dust,^H6083 And lifteth^H7311 up the needy^H34 from the dunghill;^H830

Better^H2896 is the poor^H7326 that walketh^H1980 in his integrity^H8537 Than he that is perverse^H6141 in his lips^H8193 and is a fool.^H3684

For thus saith^H559 the high^H7311 and lofty One^H5375 that inhabiteth^H7931 eternity,^H5703 whose name^H8034 is Holy:^H6918 I dwell^H7931 in the high^H4791 and holy^H6918 place, with him also that is of a contrite^H1793 and humble^H8217 spirit,^H7307 to revive^H2421 the spirit^H7307 of the humble,^H8217 and to revive^H2421 the heart^H3820 of the contrite.^H1792

But I will leave^H7604 in the midst^H7130 of thee an afflicted^H6041 and poor^H1800 people,^H5971 and they shall take refuge^H2620 in the name^H8034 of Jehovah.^H3068

and^G2532 he opened^G455 his^G846 mouth^G4750 and taught^G1321 them,^G846 saying,^G3004

And^G2532 he stretched forth^G1614 his^G846 hand^G5495 towards^G1909 his^G846 disciples,^G3101 and said,^G2036 Behold,^G2400 my^G3450 mother^G3384 and^G2532 my^G3450 brethren!^G80

And^G2532 looking^G4017 round^G2945 on them that sat^G2521 round about^G2945 him,^G846 he saith,^G3004 Behold,^G1492 my^G3450 mother^G3384 and^G2532 my^G3450 brethren!^G80

And^G2532 he^G846 lifted up^G1869 his^G846 eyes^G3788 on^G1519 his^G846 disciples,^G3101 and said,^G3004 Blessed^G3107 [are] ye poor:^G4434 for^G3754 yours^G5212 is^G2076 the kingdom^G932 of God.^G2316

There^G1563 shall be^G2071 the weeping^G2805 and^G2532 the gnashing^G1030 of teeth,^G3599 when^G3752 ye shall see^G3700 Abraham,^G11 and^G2532 Isaac,^G2464 and^G2532 Jacob,^G2384 and^G2532 all^G3956 the prophets,^G4396 in^G1722 the kingdom^G932 of God,^G2316 and^G1161 yourselves^G5209 cast^G1544 forth^G1854 without.

But^G1161 Abraham^G11 said,^G2036 Son,^G5043 remember^G3415 that^G3754 thou^G4771 in^G1722 thy^G4675 lifetime^G2222 receivedst^G618 thy^G4675 good things,^G18 and^G2532 Lazarus^G2976 in like^G3668 manner evil things:^G2556 but^G1161 now^G3568 here he^G3592 is comforted,^G3870 and^G1161 thou^G4771 art in anguish.^G3600

confirming^G1991 the souls^G5590 of the disciples,^G3101 exhorting them^G3870 to continue^G1696 in the faith,^G4102 and^G2532 that^G3754 through^G1223 many^G4183 tribulations^G2347 we^G2248 must^G1163 enter^G1525 into^G1519 the kingdom^G932 of God.^G2316

Wherefore^G5620 let^G2744 no one^G3367 glory^G2744 in^G1722 men.^G444 For^G1063 all things^G3956 are^G2076 yours;^G5216

how that^G3754 in^G1722 much^G4183 proof^G1382 of affliction^G2347 the abundance^G4050 of their^G846 joy^G5479 and^{G2532 G2596} their^G846 deep^G899 poverty^G4432 abounded^G4052 unto^G1519 the riches^G4149 of their^G846 liberality.^G572

And^G2532 ye^G5210 became^G1096 imitators^G3402 of us,^G2257 and^G2532 of the Lord,^G2962 having received^G1209 the word^G3056 in^G1722 much^G4183 affliction,^G2347 with^G3326 joy^G5479 of the Holy^G40 Spirit;^G4151

But let^G1161 the brother^G80 of low degree^G5011 glory^G2744 in^G1722 his^G846 high estate:^G5311

Hearken,^G191 my^G3450 beloved^G27 brethren;^G80 did^G1586 not^G3756 God^G2316 choose^G1586 them that are poor^G4434 as to the^G5127 world^G2889 [to be] rich^G4145 in^G1722 faith,^G4102 and^G2532 heirs^G2818 of the kingdom^G932 which^G3739 he promised^G1861 to them that^G3588 love^G25 him?^G846
