Ye shall therefore keep^H8104 all my statutes,^H2708 and all mine ordinances,^H4941 and do^H6213 them; that the land,^H776 whither I bring^H935 you to dwell^H3427 therein, vomit you not out.^H6958

for ye are not as yet come^H935 to the rest^H4496 and to the inheritance,^H5159 which Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 giveth^H5414 thee.

And it shall come to pass, that as all the good^H2896 things^H1697 are come^H935 upon you of which Jehovah^H3068 your God^H430 spake^H1696 unto you, so will Jehovah^H3068 bring^H935 upon you all the evil^H7451 things,^H1697 until he have destroyed^H8045 you from off this good^H2896 land^H127 which Jehovah^H3068 your God^H430 hath given^H5414 you.

In the days^H3117 of Pekah^H6492 king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 came^H935 Tiglath-pileser^H8407 king^H4428 of Assyria,^H804 and took^H3947 Ijon,^H5859 and Abel-beth-maacah,^H62 and Janoah,^H3239 and Kedesh,^H6943 and Hazor,^H2674 and Gilead,^H1568 and Galilee,^H1551 all the land^H776 of Naphtali;^H5321 and he carried them captive^H1540 to Assyria.^H804

then will I pluck them up by the roots^H5428 out of my land^H127 which I have given^H5414 them; and this house,^H1004 which I have hallowed^H6942 for my name,^H8034 will I cast out^H7993 of my sight,^H6440 and I will make^H5414 it a proverb^H4912 and a byword^H8148 among all peoples.^H5971

Wherefore I sware^H7650 in my wrath,^H639 That they should not enter^H935 into my rest.^H4496

Lift up^H5375 thine eyes^H5869 unto the bare heights,^H8205 and see;^H7200 where^H375 hast thou not been lain^H7693 with? By the ways^H1870 hast thou sat^H3427 for them, as an Arabian^H6163 in the wilderness;^H4057 and thou hast polluted^H2610 the land^H776 with thy whoredoms^H2184 and with thy wickedness.^H7451

For thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Behold, I will sling^H7049 out the inhabitants^H3427 of the land^H776 at this time,^H6471 and will distress^H6887 them, that they may feel^H4672 [it].

Son^H1121 of man,^H120 when the house^H1004 of Israel^H3478 dwelt^H3427 in their own land,^H127 they defiled^H2930 it by their way^H1870 and by their doings:^H5949 their way^H1870 before^H6440 me was as the uncleanness^H2932 of a woman^H5079 in her impurity.

Let us^G5399 fear^G5399 therefore,^G3767 lest^G3379 haply, a promise^G1860 being left^G2641 of entering^G1525 into^G1519 his^G846 rest,^G2663 any^G5100 one of^G1537 you^G5216 should seem^G1380 to have come short of it.^G5302
