And the earth^H776 was corrupt^H7843 before^H6440 God,^H430 and the earth^H776 was filled^H4390 with violence.^H2555

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto me, Amos,^H5986 what seest^H7200 thou? And I said,^H559 A plumb-line.^H594 Then said^H559 the Lord,^H136 Behold, I will set^H7760 a plumb-line^H594 in the midst^H7130 of my people^H5971 Israel;^H3478 I will not again^H3254 pass by^H5674 them any more;

And he said^H559 unto me, What seest^H7200 thou? And I said,^H559 I have seen,^H7200 and, behold, a candlestick^H4501 all of gold,^H2091 with its bowl^H1531 upon the top^H7218 of it, and its seven^H7651 lamps^H5216 thereon; there are seven^H7651 pipes^H4166 to each of the^H7651 lamps,^H5216 which are upon the top^H7218 thereof;

for^G3754 her^G846 sins^G266 have reached^G190 even unto^G891 heaven,^G3772 and^G2532 God^G2316 hath remembered^G3421 her^G846 iniquities.^G92
