Back to passage

Where as the goodnesse of God endureth yet daylie.

euen amonge the children of men, whose tethe are speares and arowes, and their tonge a sharpe swerde.

Which whette their tuges like a swerde, & shute wt their venimous wordes like as wt arowes.

An innocent tonge is a noble treasure, but the herte of the vngodly is nothinge worth.

A wholsome tonge is a tre of life, but he that abuseth it, hath a broken mynde.

Fayre wordes are an hony combe, a refreshinge of ye mynde, & health of ye bones.

Those also that haue vnderstondinge amonge the people, shal enfourme the multitude: & for a longe season, they shalbe persecuted with swearde, with fyre, with captyuyte & with the takynge awaye of their goodes.

And he had in his right honde seue starres. And out of his mouth went a sharpe two edged swearde. And his face shone euen as the sonne in his strength.
