And God helped him against ye Philistims, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gur-baal and Hammeunim.
That I may declare with the voyce of thankesgiuing, and set foorth all thy wonderous woorkes.
O God, thou hast taught me fro my youth euen vntill nowe: therefore will I tell of thy wonderous workes,
Wee will not hide them from their children but to the generation to come we wil shewe the praises of the Lord his power also, & his wonderful woorkes that he hath done:
Declare his glory among all nations, and his wonders among all people.
Let them therefore cofesse before the Lord his louing kindnesse, and his wonderfull woorkes before the sonnes of men.
He hath made his wonderfull workes to be had in remembrance: the Lord is mercifull and full of compassion.
It shall not bee inhabited for euer, neither shall it be dwelled in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch his tents there, neither shall the shepheardes make their foldes there.
O Lord, thou art my God: I will exalt thee, I will prayse thy Name: for thou hast done wonderfull things, according to the counsels of old, with a stable trueth.
Lift vp thine eyes vnto the hie places, and beholde, where thou hast not plaied the harlot: thou hast sit waiting for them in the waies, as the Arabian in the wildernesse: and thou hast polluted the lande with thy whoredomes, and with thy malice.
(3:32) I thought it good to declare the signes and wonders, that the hie God hath wrought toward me.
And because the hauen was not commodious to winter in, many tooke counsell to depart thence, if by any meanes they might attaine to Phenice, there to winter, which is an hauen of Candie, and lyeth toward the Southwest and by West, and Northwest and by West.
