Art thou he that shoulde come, or shal we looke for another?

Saying, Art thou that Christ? tell vs; he said vnto them, If I tell you, ye wil not beleeue it.

Then saide they vnto him, Who art thou? And Iesus saide vnto them, Euen the same thing that I said vnto you from the beginning.

These wordes spake his parents, because they feared the Iewes: for the Iewes had ordeined already, that if any man did confesse that he was Christ, he should be excommunicate out of the Synagogue.

Seeing then that we haue such trust, we vse great boldnesse of speach.
