TSK · 2 Chronicles 6:18

And they shall know that I [am] the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I [am] the LORD their God.

And the house which I build [is] great: for great [is] our God above all gods.

Now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you on this manner, neither yet believe him: for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of mine hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your God deliver you out of mine hand?

¶ How much less shall I answer him, [and] choose out my words [to reason] with him?

Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, [for] the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell [among them].

¶ Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

¶ Thus saith the LORD, The heaven [is] my throne, and the earth [is] my footstool: where [is] the house that ye build unto me? and where [is] the place of my rest?

‹If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?›

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
