And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God [is] not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake.

Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD [as great] delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey [is] better than sacrifice, [and] to hearken than the fat of rams.

Job 5:19 TSK

He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.

For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

What man [is] he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way [that] he shall choose.

The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.

¶ The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.

¶ Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Acts 9:31 TSK

Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

For if there be first a willing mind, [it is] accepted according to that a man hath, [and] not according to that he hath not.

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

¶ And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
