And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over [all] the land of Egypt.
And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, [that] Pharaoh should have the fifth [part]; except the land of the priests only, [which] became not Pharaoh's.
¶ Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;
Also we certify you, that touching any of the priests and Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them.
‹Nor scrip for› [your] ‹journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.›
Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
¶ Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
