And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah:

And the days of Isaac were an hundred and fourscore years.

So Joseph died, [being] an hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.

And Moses [was] fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.

¶ And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, [being] an hundred and ten years old.

For we [are] strangers before thee, and sojourners, as [were] all our fathers: our days on the earth [are] as a shadow, and [there is] none abiding.

¶ Man [that is] born of a woman [is] of few days, and full of trouble.

Behold, thou hast made my days [as] an handbreadth; and mine age [is] as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state [is] altogether vanity. Selah.

O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.

Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

¶ Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as [in] a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
