¶ Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning [with] his anger, and the burden [thereof is] heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:
Fear not, thou worm Jacob, [and] ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD [are] upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.
But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he [is] like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
‹But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute› [you], ‹delivering› [you] ‹up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.›
And he said unto me, ‹My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.› Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
The Lord Jesus Christ [be] with thy spirit. Grace [be] with you. Amen.
