With him [is] strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver [are] his.
¶ And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I [am] young, and ye [are] very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
¶ Behold, God [is] mighty, and despiseth not [any: he is] mighty in strength [and] wisdom.
Great [is] our Lord, and of great power: his understanding [is] infinite.
Counsel [is] mine, and sound wisdom: I [am] understanding; I have strength.
Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or [being] his counsellor hath taught him?
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
‹For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.›
But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
