And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:

‹And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.›

And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.

¶ And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.

‹Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.›

The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,

His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
