¶ To the chief Musician, Maschil, for the sons of Korah. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
My soul shall be satisfied as [with] marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise [thee] with joyful lips:
My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
¶ And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
¶ Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
‹Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.›
‹Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.›
¶ In the last day, that great [day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, ‹If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.›
