¶ [There be] many that say, Who will shew us [any] good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

¶ To the chief Musician, Maschil, for the sons of Korah. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

My soul shall be satisfied as [with] marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise [thee] with joyful lips:

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

¶ And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

¶ Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
