Howbeit thou [art] just in all that is brought upon us; for thou hast done right, but we have done wickedly:

My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness [and] thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers [thereof].

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

¶ Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation [is] near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

¶ But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

[It is of] the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Luke 18:9 TSK

¶ And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

To declare, [I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

¶ What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

¶ Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
