TSK · 2 Timothy 1:12

My God, I trust in you. Please do not let me be humiliated; do not let my enemies triumphantly rejoice over me!

My enemies will turn back when I cry out to you for help; I know that God is on my side.

But the Sovereign LORD helps me, so I am not humiliated. For that reason I am steadfastly resolved; I know I will not be put to shame.

The LORD is good– indeed, he is a fortress in time of distress, and he protects those who seek refuge in him.

And in his name the Gentiles will hope.”

I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town!

Now this is the will of the one who sent me– that I should not lose one person of every one he has given me, but raise them all up at the last day.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; no one will snatch them from my hand.

I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but that you keep them safe from the evil one.

For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.”

But the Jews incited the God-fearing women of high social standing and the prominent men of the city, stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and threw them out of their region.

Then Paul replied,“What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be tied up, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Then he said to me,‘Go, because I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’”

and endurance, character, and character, hope.

And again Isaiah says,“The root of Jesse will come, and the one who rises to rule over the Gentiles, in him will the Gentiles hope.”

so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, would be to the praise of his glory.

My confident hope is that I will in no way be ashamed but that with complete boldness, even now as always, Christ will be exalted in my body, whether I live or die.

My aim is to know him, to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings, and to be like him in his death,

because they hinder us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. Thus they constantly fill up their measure of sins, but wrath has come upon them completely.

Conclusion O Timothy, protect what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the profane chatter and absurdities of so-called“knowledge.”

May the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day! And you know very well all the ways he served me in Ephesus.

Continue in What You Have Learned You, however, have followed my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, my faith, my patience, my love, my endurance,

At my first defense no one appeared in my support; instead they all deserted me– may they not be held accountable for it.

So he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

who by God’s power are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

But if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but glorify God that you bear such a name.

Final Blessing Now to the one who is able to keep you from falling, and to cause you to stand, rejoicing, without blemish before his glorious presence,
