LORD, use your power to deliver me from these murderers, from the murderers of this world! They enjoy prosperity; you overwhelm them with the riches they desire. They have many children, and leave their wealth to their offspring.

A psalm of David. Here is the LORD’s proclamation to my lord:“Sit down at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool!”

But accumulate for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and devouring insect do not destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.

‘The Lord said to my lord,“Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet”’?

David himself, by the Holy Spirit, said,‘The Lord said to my lord,“Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet.”’

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

Therefore we have been buried with him through baptism into death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may live a new life.

For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace,

because we are not looking at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. For what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.

and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.

He, the very one who descended, is also the one who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.

Having been buried with him in baptism, you also have been raised with him through your faith in the power of God who raised him from the dead.

Keep thinking about things above, not things on the earth,

But to which of the angels has he ever said,“Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

But when this priest had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, he sat down at the right hand of God,

keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
