TSK · Nehemiah 8:6

The man bowed his head and worshiped the LORD,

then you will say,‘It is the sacrifice of the LORD’s Passover, when he passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt, when he struck Egypt and delivered our households.’” The people bowed down low to the ground,

David Praises the Lord David praised the LORD before the entire assembly:“O LORD God of our father Israel, you deserve praise forevermore!

He said,“The LORD God of Israel is worthy of praise because he has fulfilled what he promised my father David.

Now I intend to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, so that he may relent from his raging anger.

I also shook out my garment, and I said,“In this way may God shake out from his house and his property every person who does not carry out this matter. In this way may he be shaken out and emptied!” All the assembly replied,“So be it!” and they praised the LORD. Then the people did as they had promised.

The LORD God of Israel deserves praise in the future and forevermore! We agree! We agree!

The LORD God, the God of Israel, deserves praise! He alone accomplishes amazing things!

Lift your hands toward the sanctuary and praise the LORD!

The prophet Jeremiah said,“Amen! May the LORD do all this! May the LORD make your prophecy come true! May he bring back to this place from Babylon all the valuable articles taken from the LORD’s temple and the people who were carried into exile.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Otherwise, if you are praising God with your spirit, how can someone without the gift say“Amen” to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying?

So I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or dispute.

And all the angels stood there in a circle around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they threw themselves down with their faces to the ground before the throne and worshiped God,
